On Saturday 20th August 2016 the first Calderdale Charity Tractor Run will begin from the Craggs Country Business Park at 11:30am!

The run is raising funds for Watermark Flood Fund and Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team.

Watermark Fun!d Calderdale is a campaign to build a resilience fund for our towns for future flooding. Their aim is to build a pot of money that can be accessed by businesses and households immediately when future floods hit.

The other chosen charity is the Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) who provide an essential, life-saving emergency service to the people of the Calder Valley and beyond. Working alongside the emergency services, the team specialise in night and adverse weather rescue, specialist medical treatment and stretcher evacuation. Attending an average of 65 callouts a year, CVSRT is staffed by over 50 unpaid volunteers with the charity receiving no direct government funding.

We encourage as many tractors to be involved as possible with the £10.00 entry fee for charity. For more information click the link to visit the runs Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CalderdaleTractor/  where you can sign up to join the run!
